The Huber family hotel looks back on over 120 years of history and six generations - a living testimony to timeless hospitality and sustainable commitment. This tradition obliges us to offer our guests unforgettable experiences and at the same time contribute to future generations. Sustainability is at the centre of this: We rely on modern technologies and efficient energy sources to make conscious use of resources. Recycling, waste reduction and a circular economy are integral parts of our daily activities.

Where history meets sustainable innovation

Our close connection to the region is an essential part of our philosophy. We work with local farmers and producers to use fresh, seasonal ingredients and strengthen the local economy. This connection characterises the identity of our hotel and anchors sustainable values in our history. At the Familienhotel Huber, tradition and sustainability go hand in hand - for a future in which hospitality is not just a legacy, but a promise.

We have been heating with wood chips from the surrounding forests for over 25 years.
We do not use disposable products, but refillable products.
We prefer to use natural materials for remodelling work.
Heat recovery: We use the waste heat from the cooling systems to heat the pools.
Our guests decide for themselves how often the towels are changed, and the rooms are cleaned.
Where possible, we avoid the use of plastic.
We work closely with local partners in all areas.

We use our own photovoltaic system to generate energy.
Electricity consumption in the kitchen is automatically optimised.
The heating is controlled separately in each room and the lighting is time controlled.
We carefully separate waste in the hotel and train our staff in this respect.
Our guests can use public transport throughout South Tyrol free of charge.
Our digital guest folder replaces the printed version: All information about the ski and mountain pasture region, external partners and the weekly programme can be accessed digitally at any time.
