Huber Farm has its origins in the year 1508. Huber farm was owned by Neustift Monastery until the 17th century and was built as a “Paarhof”, meaning that living quarters and working buildings were kept separate (in contrast to the “Einhof” farm design with its one, multipurpose building). The monks began by leasing the farm to the Huber family before eventually selling it to them.
This farm has been called Huber Farm ever since, and the guesthouse is part of the complex.
